A chef friend of mine recommended this place and I went for lunch. Pictures are Negroni, Cesar salad, Margherita, and Pera. Surprised 3 times. 1. Overall price range is very reasonable. 2. Pizza and salad were excellent. 3. Still there was no line like Apizza Scholls and Ken's, which are off of my list from today on. In PDX: For pizza and pasta, go to Carina lounge. For pizza and salad, go here. For higher end Italiano, go to Nostrana.

The best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve been on a pizza quest for a few years just trying places and now I’ve found it. The best one. If you’d like an authentic pie (and to watch it being made from the bar) then this is THE place to go. Excellent quality all around. Definitely give this place a try and then come back and upvote this review so we can all agree that I was right.

After a year of planning, my wife and I finally snagged an evening to visit this place for a spontaneous date night, and it did not disappoint! We arrived just before the dinner rush, so we barely had to wait, but I’d definitely suggest making a reservation just to be on the safe side. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect backdrop for a cozy dinner. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and just a delight to chat with. One of the highlights for us was watching our dishes being prepared right in front of us; it added an intimate touch to the whole experience. When my margarita pizza arrived, I was blown away. Every bite was a burst of flavor—the dough was perfect, the sauce vibrant, and the cheese wonderfully fresh. To top it all off, I enjoyed a refreshing can of lemonata, which was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening. What was particularly great is that my wife, who has to be mindful of gluten, found the menu incredibly accommodating. She loved her dish as well! Overall, it was a memorable night filled with delectable food and warm ambience. We can't wait to return!

Nice little spot with authentic Neopolitan pizza. (Fairly soft and fluffy crust in an Italian style that is not trying to be one of those other Portland styles). The salad are good and they have a couple great sandwiches at lunch. The sandwiches are made on pizza bread that is straight out of the pizza oven. (See pic)

I don't have enough words to describe how good our experience was. I have eaten pizza in Rome and Milan many times, and this pizza stood up to the challenge to impress my taste. It was simply perfection. From the burrata to the tiramisu with two different pizzas in between. The crust was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Felt like biting on a could. The combination of the toppings was brilliant and simple. I was left with a smile and a taste for more. Until next time.

Chicory Caesar Salad: This salad was delicious. The savory flavors hit right away. The high-quality olive oil shimmered on the plate, making it visually beautiful. The cheese was sharp, cutting through the richness of the dressing. The chicory was not too bitter, and I loved the crunch from the crispy bits. The lemon and olives made the salad “pop” even more. Margherita Pizza: it was simple and well-executed. The crust was crisp without being burnt, and the flavor of the olive oil really came through. The basil was fresh and fragrant, and the cheese was mild, allowing the sauce and crust to shine. Diavola Pizza: The Diavola was another hit. The meat had a sweet, savory flavor that paired beautifully with the chiles, which added a fruity flavor to the pizza. Again, the crust was phenomenal—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The drizzle of honey tied everything together. Tiramisu: This one was a miss for me. It was a little bland—the ricotta layer, in particular, could’ve used a touch of vanilla, in my opinion. Service & Atmosphere: The service was excellent. The food came out quickly, and the servers were on point. Overall, a great experience. I can't wait to come back!

Had been eagerly waiting to try Grana and finally made it in last week for an evening dinner. All in a lovely meal and great atmosphere. I will start by saying definitely make reservations ahead of time. We had one, but sitting at the front of the restaurant we counted at least about dozen parties come in and then proceed to leave after hearing about the hour plus wait. The atmosphere is lovely inside. The tones are warm, the art is nice, and the pink tile lines the back while by the pizza oven. We were sat unfortunately at the very first table which is typically not my preference but I understand given the time of day. The chef’s counter looked like a fun option if you wanted to mingle a little more and the owner I believe was the one cooking up the pies which is awesome. Food overall was super tasty. It’s a lighter and doughier pizza than folks are maybe used to. Certainly more authentic neopolitan style. The flavors were rich and tasty. Dough had good flavor and the tomato sauce you could just tell was fresh. We wound up getting two pizzas and an app which I think is the right amount for two folks to share. The white bean spread was a delicious starter and came with tasty bread. Service all around was great. Wait staff were kind and efficient. If anything I wished less folks had come in to ask about availability because it meant the cold air kept leaking in but I understand that isn’t in control of the restaurant. Great date night spot overall!

My wife and I have been working though the top 50 pizza places in USA and finally Enjoyed a meal here at GRANA! We started out with Appetizers of Burrata and Olives, and they were delicious. The Margherita pizza was also delicious and honestly better than quite a few of the others we have tried on the top 50 list ranked higher! The pistachio tiramisu was also delicious. This place is a must when visiting Portland!
